All about Housereef dive site
Housereef is an easy-access reef, usually close to a dive centre or resort. It has a practical, repeatable profile, especially useful for check dives, night dives, and slow macro observation.
What to see
Wrasse, bream, octopus, cuttlefish, moray or conger eels, nudibranchs, shrimps, crabs, anemones, and small reef fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Diveable whenever local sea conditions are calm. Best comfort is usually from June to October on the mainland and much of the year around Madeira.
