Wreck
Helmet Wreck is one of Palau’s most accessible and historically rich WWII wreck dives, named for the military helmets found among the remains. It has a compact, atmospheric profile, with wartime cargo, marine growth, and reef fish gathered around the structure.

What to see
Helmets, depth charges or wartime cargo remnants where present, wreck structure, soft corals, sponges, lionfish, batfish, glassfish, moray eels, nudibranchs, and small crustaceans may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Diveable year-round, with October or November to May usually offering the best overall conditions. Water is around 27–30°C, while visibility inside the lagoon may be more modest than on Palau’s outer reefs.
