Erg Abu Diab is likely a pinnacle site where coral heads rise from sand. It offers a compact, photogenic dive with fish life concentrated around the ergs.
What to see
Coral pinnacles, anthias, glassfish, lionfish, moray eels, blue-spotted rays, butterflyfish, and small shrimps may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best in spring and autumn, with water around 22–29°C. Visibility is often excellent.
