RECOMMENDED AIRPORT
A town of Dahab is located on the southeast coast of the Sinai Peninsula, about 80km northeast of Sharm el-Sheikh. The closest international airport is also in Sharm El Sheikh. Dahab is one of the most popular diving destinations of Egypt. The abundance of dive sites at Dahab varies from shallow coral labyrinths to deep canyons and walls. Most of the coastline both south and north of Dahab has a fringing reef and other dive sites are easily reachable by boat.
The best dive sites here are: Blue Hole (a 70m-wide, 80m-deep hole within a coral reef), The Dahab Canyon, Coral Gardens, Eel Garden, Gabr el Bint, Golden Blocks, Lighthouse, Moray Gardens, Rick's Reef, Caves, The Islands, Three Pools and Umm Sid.
