Anilao
Located around Luzon in Philippines, Anilao dive site offers its healthy coral reef for amazing macro photography. It features some swim-throughs, drop-offs and rocky bottoms full of diverse marine life. The current varies from light to moderate. Anilao provides an opportunity to see so many underwater creatures, that even very rare species are available here.
When To Go Diving
The right time for diving around Anilao is from December till June, but sometimes it may be possible to dive this site during other months too. The air temperature is typically within 27-30C/89-98F range, while the water often reaches about 26-28C/85-92F.
What to see
Octopus, gobies, rare nudibranches, bobbit worms, scorpionfish, seahorses and frogfish can be encountered around this dive site. Some bigger species include jacks, barracudas, eagle rays and mackerel that are spotted here often.
