Fish Sanctuary
Balicasag Island
Situated on the west part of the island, this site is the protected area of Balicasag Island. It is a steep coral wall, that goes down to 50m/164ft. Coming here divers can explore small caverns, holes and at least one big swim-through.
When To Go Diving
Scuba diving can be done year-round. The average water temperature ranges from 25C/77F to 29C/84F.
What to see
This site is well-known for the cleaning station of big-eye jack fish (numbering in the thousands), groupers and other large fish. Also frog fish, scorpion fish, different nudibranchs, eels and many other fish can be seen here.
