This dive site is located near Bulata, Sipalay, Negros Occidental. This site is also known as Mad Max. Local diving is interesting because of the opportunity to see something different every time. Divers will not be bored here even if they dive every day. The bottom is sandy with a few reefs and rocks.
When To Go Diving
The best period for diving is from November to May. Late December to April is the peak season. The water temperature is 26-29C/79-84F throughout the year. The rainy season occurs from June to September.
What to see
There are a lot of species under the pier, like lionfish, starfish, tiger cowries, flatworms, nudibranchs, sea slugs, grouper, frogfish, moray eels, and especially interesting small newborn fish.
