Peter's Mound
The Peter’s Mound dive site, located just 200m/656ft from the shore, features an underwater mound that rises from a depth of over 40m/131ft. This dive site is known for encounters with big fish and pelagics, because they use this place as a cleaning station. The occasional strong currents and the deep depths mean that this site is not suitable for novice divers. However, the current and the depth are the attributes that make the site popular with pelagics, and also with the more experienced divers who want to see them.
When To Go Diving
Divers can dive at this site all year round. The water temperature at the sea surface is around 25-30C/77-86F, depending on the season.
