Angelita Cenote
Cenote Angelita or Little Angel is a unique site where divers can dive in the "clouds" at 30m/100ft and see upside down trees. First half of the cenote, until 30m/100ft mark, is filled with fresh water, while the other half, with salt water. The two halves are separated by a thin layer, about 4m/10ft, of hydrogen sulfate, which has a zero visibility, but creates a unique mirror effect. Beneath the layer, which looks like a dense cloud from the top, the water is clear again, but divers are advised to have a good scuba diving lights, since the cenote gets quite dark after divers pass through the hydrogen sulfate layer.
