All about Critter Circus dive site

Critter Circus is best described as a Lembeh-style muck site, where the drama is hidden in dark volcanic sand rather than coral walls. It suits divers who enjoy slow searching, close-up photography, and the strange theatre of Indonesia’s smallest marine life.

What to see

Frogfish, nudibranchs, flamboyant cuttlefish, mimic octopus, coconut octopus, seahorses, pipefish, shrimps, crabs, and other cryptic muck species may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Lembeh can be dived year-round, with generally good macro conditions in most months. Water is usually around 26–29°C, and visibility is often lower than reef destinations, commonly around 5–20 metres depending on plankton, rain, and sand movement.
