Liveaboard cruises offering dives at the Crawl Cay

All about Crawl Cay dive site

Crawl Cay sits in southern Belize, where cayes, mangrove-fringed shallows, and nearby reef channels create a quieter Caribbean dive setting. It has a more remote, nature-rich feel than the busy northern reef sites, with dives often shaped by local tides, coral heads, and sandy passages.

What to see

Expect coral heads, sponges, sea fans, snappers, grunts, parrotfish, angelfish, rays, and small reef creatures. Nurse sharks, turtles, and schooling fish may appear around channels and reef edges.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible year-round, with December to May usually offering calmer seas and clearer conditions. Water temperatures are generally around 26–29°C, and visibility can be very good offshore, though nearshore sites may vary with wind and tide.
