Car Wash, also known as Aktun Ha, is a well-known cenote near Tulum with clear freshwater, open-water sections, aquatic plants, and cavern lines for trained divers. It has a quiet, otherworldly mood, especially when sunlight filters through the entrance.
What to see
Freshwater plants, limestone formations, tree roots, fish, turtles in open areas, cavern passages, light beams, and halocline effects may be seen.
When To Go Diving
