All about Boya 32 dive site

Boya 32 is a buoy-marked local site, likely used for straightforward reef diving around Sal’s southern coast. It suits divers who want a manageable profile with volcanic rock, fish movement, and small reef life rather than a deep cave or wreck.

What to see

Expect wrasse, parrotfish, trumpetfish, moray eels, scorpionfish, sponges, nudibranchs, shrimps, and crabs. Barracuda or jacks may appear in the open water around the mooring.

When To Go Diving

April to November is usually the strongest period, while winter can bring cooler water and more breeze. Water often sits around 22–27°C in peak months, with visibility commonly 15–30 metres.
