Batu Sandar suggests a rocky reef or boulder site, where stone formations create shelter for fish and small marine life. It suits divers who enjoy structure, crevices, and a slower reef profile.
What to see
Coral heads, reef fish, nudibranchs, shrimps, crabs, moray eels, scorpionfish, butterflyfish, and small schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best conditions are usually during the local dry season, often April to November in North Sulawesi. Water is commonly 27–29°C, with visibility varying from moderate to very good.
