The site, located on the north side of the island, is a flat strip reef sand around, sloping into the depths. Divers may get into "strong and unpredictable" currents sometimes and some even invented a joke about 'next stop will be Cuba'. But it also means that divers can meet big animals and some of best coral on the island.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible all year round, while the high season is from December to March. Water temperature varies from 25C/75F to 30C/85F.

What to see

Schools of barracuda, jacks, moray eels, sharks, also during the winter months divers can sometimes see schools of eagle rays.

Reviews about Barracuda Point

December 2015
More advanced dive due to very strong current. Wall dive. Depth is up to you, I stayed around 115 ft. Lots of coral to see, did not see as much large life at these depths obviously.
