All about Bandar Khayran dive site
Bandar Khayran, near Muscat, is a sheltered bay and island area with rocky reefs, small walls, and calm-water dive sites. It has a more relaxed, coastal character than the exposed islands, making it useful when sea conditions are less settled.
What to see
Reef fish, turtles, rays, moray eels, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, snappers, hard corals, soft corals, and small crustaceans may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Diveable year-round, with April–May and September–October often most comfortable. Water is generally around 23–30°C, and visibility can vary from 5–20 metres depending on plankton and bay conditions.
