All about Baleeira dive site
Baleeira suggests a site linked with whales, whaling history, or a coastal harbour name. Underwater, it is best treated as a rocky Atlantic reef or bay site with fish and invertebrate life.
What to see
Wrasse, bream, octopus, cuttlefish, moray or conger eels, anemones, sponges, nudibranchs, and small schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from late spring to early autumn. Water is generally around 15–23°C on the mainland and 18–24°C in Madeira/Azores regions.
