YO-257, off Oahu, is one of Hawaii’s best-known wreck dives, sitting near other artificial reef structures and often attracting larger fish. It has a strong wide-angle profile and is generally suited to experienced divers.
What to see
Wreck structure, Atlantis submarine views nearby where operating, turtles, eagle rays, white-tip reef sharks, jacks, reef fish, sponges, and schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to October for calmer seas, though Oahu wrecks can be dived year-round in suitable conditions. Water is generally around 24–28°C.
