It is an area with spectacular cliffs. Divers will have a chance to explore a beautiful underwater landscape when diving in the bay and then swim through a 45m/147ft long tunnel to see the stunning scenery outside of the bay. The landscape is so breathtaking that even weddings have been taking place here. The tunnel, located only 2m/7ft deep on the cliff side, runs through the headland with a maximum depth of 8m/26ft. There is a crack along the ceiling that together with the light from the exit creates an incredible atmosphere full of intense blue light and a perfect opportunity for photography.

When to go

Diving is available year-round. The average air temperature is around 10-15C/50-59 F during the winter and 21-30C/70-83F during the summer. The average water temperature is about 14-17C/58-63F from December through April and 18-25C/65-77F from May through November.

What to see

The tunnel walls are covered with golden zoanthids, red starfish and sponges, purple and green algae, and bristle worms are everywhere. Shoals of barracuda and jacks, as well as starfish can be seen frequently.

In some parts you might have the impression of bio-diversity depletion, but there are some regions where it still shows its natural beauty and wealth in a variety of species. In almost all weather conditions, we can take you to one of our 35 sites, offering caves, grottos, tunnels, reefs, wrecks, etc, all of which will leave a lasting impression upon you. Upon request, we can offer Day-Trips to Malta as well as Night-Dives and Early Morning Dives. We dive in small groups and all sites can be quickly accessed via our Buses or Boats. Our philosophy is to give an individual service to our clients. After the dives, our center offers ample space to sit and relax.
