All about Wahoo Point dive site
Wahoo Point is likely a more exposed point dive, named for the fast pelagic fish that may pass through open water. It has a livelier, blue-water profile than sheltered coral gardens and is best dived when current and visibility are favourable.
What to see
Wahoo may be possible, along with jacks, barracuda, tuna, reef sharks, fusiliers, turtles, sea fans, soft corals, and schooling reef fish.
When To Go Diving
May to November is usually the most reliable period, with visibility often 15–30 metres and sometimes higher on offshore sites. Water is generally around 27–31°C.
