All about Cobbs Cliff dive site
Cobbs Cliff is best treated as a Kimbe Bay wall or steep reef site, where coral growth drops into clear Bismarck Sea water. It has the dramatic but elegant feel of PNG diving, with vertical structure, reef fish, and plenty of space for wide-angle scenery.
What to see
Sea fans, soft corals, hard corals, anthias, fusiliers, butterflyfish, turtles, reef sharks, nudibranchs, and schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
May to November usually brings the calmest conditions and strongest visibility in Kimbe Bay. Water is generally around 27–31°C, with visibility often 15–30 metres and sometimes more on exposed reefs.
