The Vaadhoo dive site (also spelled Vaadhu) is a thila (local name for a submerged reef) located in South Malé Atoll in of the Maldives. There are some caves on the north side of the reef.

When to go

Vaadhoo Thila's water temperature ranges from 26-29C/79-84F, which makes year-round diving possible. The best time to try liveaboards is from November to May. There are sometimes heavy rains during June and July.

What to see

Vaadhoo Thila is a place where divers may spot soft corals, squirrelfish, tuna, and soldierfish.
