All about Turtle Reef dive site

Turtle Reef is one of Grand Cayman’s classic shore dives, with a mini-wall that drops from shallow reef into deeper blue water. It has an easy-access feel but still gives divers that signature Cayman contrast of bright reef top and sudden vertical depth.

What to see

Divers may see turtles, tarpon, parrotfish, angelfish, wrasse, sea fans, sponges, coral heads, and small reef creatures. The wall edge may also bring jacks, barracuda, and passing rays.

When To Go Diving

Best conditions are usually from November to April, though the site can be dived year-round. Water is generally around 25–30°C, with visibility often above 30 metres on clear days.
