Wreck
The Wrecks refers to a wreck-dive area where sunken structures create artificial habitat. It offers contrast to French Polynesia’s passes and coral gardens, with fish life gathered around metal or wooden remains.
What to see
Wreck structures, reef fish, snappers, moray eels, lionfish, sponges, coral growth, and small crustaceans may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to October for visibility, though sheltered wrecks may be diveable year-round. Water is generally 26–29°C.
