All about The Fish Hotel dive site
The Fish Hotel is a Nassau dive site known mainly by local operators, and the name says a lot about its character: a reef or structure where fish life becomes the main attraction. It suits an easy, observant dive, with the focus on schooling fish, coral heads, and small details rather than deep walls.
What to see
Look for snappers, grunts, sergeant majors, angelfish, parrotfish, wrasse, and small reef creatures around coral heads and ledges. Nurse sharks, rays, or turtles may appear depending on the exact mooring and conditions.
When To Go Diving
November to May is the most reliable overall period, although Nassau diving is available year-round. Expect water around 24–29°C and visibility that can reach 20–40 metres in good offshore conditions.
