All about Tanjung Kopi dive site

Tanjung Kopi, near Manado Tua, is one of North Sulawesi’s more energetic sites, known for current and larger fish movement around a prominent point. It has a blue-water, advanced feel compared with the protected muck sites of Lembeh.

What to see

Schooling barracuda, jacks, tuna, reef fish, blacktip reef sharks, turtles, Napoleon wrasse, and coral-covered slopes may be seen. Strong current can make the site more suitable for experienced divers.

When To Go Diving

The site is best dived in suitable current and sea conditions, often during the drier months from roughly April to November. Water is generally around 27–29°C, with visibility often 20–30 metres in good conditions.
