All about SW Outer dive site
SW Outer suggests an outer reef on the southwest side of a Bay Islands dive area, with a more exposed character than sheltered bay sites. It is likely a clearer, fishier reef edge where current and open water can bring more movement.
What to see
Expect jacks, barracuda, snappers, groupers, reef fish, sea fans, barrel sponges, turtles, eagle rays, moray eels, and possible larger fish along the outer edge.
When To Go Diving
Best from March to August, especially on calm days when outer reefs are easier to access. Water is generally around 24–29°C, and visibility can be excellent away from shore.
