What to see

Vast schools of scalloped hammerhead sharks are the signature hope here, often paired with galápagos sharks and eagle rays. Whale sharks are sometimes reported in season, and the broader mix can include turtles, rays, and dense schools of fish along the plateau

When To Go Diving

June to November is commonly treated as the peak season in the far north for pelagic intensity, with water often around 16–24°C and stronger current. December to May is typically warmer. Visibility can be excellent, but it’s famously variable—shaped by surge, plankton, and the mood of the Pacific
