Shaab Quais is a reef system with coral blocks and sheltered areas, often suitable for easier dives. It has the kind of Red Sea scenery that works well for fish portraits, coral details, and relaxed navigation.
What to see
Expect coral bommies, anthias, bannerfish, parrotfish, wrasse, blue-spotted rays, moray eels, lionfish, and glassfish around sheltered coral heads.
When To Go Diving
Best in spring and autumn, with water around 22–28°C and visibility often 20–40 metres. Summer is warmer but can be hot topside.
