Ras Amira is a cape-style reef, where current may wrap around the point and bring more movement to the dive. It has a stronger edge-of-reef feel than sheltered lagoon sites.
What to see
Divers may see reef fish, jacks, barracuda, fusiliers, soft corals, hard corals, turtles, blue-spotted rays, and moray eels.
When To Go Diving
Best in spring and autumn, with current and wind checked locally. Water is generally 22–28°C, with visibility often excellent.
