Pulau Teun is a remote volcanic island in the Banda Sea, often visited on expedition-style liveaboard routes. Its reefs feel wild, with deep water close to shore.
What to see
Volcanic slopes, reef fish, sea fans, jacks, barracuda, turtles, reef sharks, and schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best during Banda Sea transition seasons, especially March–April and September–November. Water is generally around 26–29°C.
