All about Cargo Wreck (Pecheur Breton) dive site

Wreck
Cargo Wreck, also known as Pecheur Breton, is a Colombo-area wreck with a classic artificial-reef profile. It has a strong sense of structure, with cargo-ship remains softened by marine growth and fish life.

What to see

Cargo wreck structure, batfish, snappers, jacks, lionfish, moray eels, sponges, soft corals, nudibranchs, and schooling fish may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best from November to April, when the west coast and Colombo wreck sites are usually at their calmest. Water is generally around 27–30°C, with visibility often 10–25 metres.
