All about Papa Doc Wreck dive site

Wreck
Papa Doc Wreck is a shallow Grand Bahama wreck linked to a 70-foot boat that sank in a storm in 1968. Today, engine blocks and scattered remains sit among coral heads, giving the dive a compact wreck-hunt feeling rather than a large intact-ship profile.

What to see

Wreck remains, coral heads, reef fish, small crustaceans, snappers, grunts, lobsters, and possibly rays may be seen. The shallow depth makes it suitable for relaxed exploration.

When To Go Diving

The site is suitable year-round in calm weather, with November to May usually offering the best overall visibility. Water generally ranges from about 24°C in winter to 29°C in summer.
