Wreck
Nippo Maru is one of the lagoon’s most photogenic wrecks, known for its deck cargo and wide, readable structure. It has a balanced profile: historically rich, visually dramatic, and alive with coral and fish.
What to see
Tanks or vehicles, deck guns, cargo, bridge structure, soft corals, reef fish, lionfish, nudibranchs, jacks, and schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Diveable year-round, with December to April often best for calmer weather. Water is generally 27–30°C, and visibility often sits around 15–30 metres.
