Medhufaru Wreck is a Sri Lankan wreck site where structure has become an artificial reef. It has a more atmospheric profile than shallow coral sites, especially where fish gather around the remains.
What to see
Wreck structure, batfish, lionfish, snappers, moray eels, sponges, soft corals, nudibranchs, and small schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best in calm conditions during the local diving season. Water is usually around 26–30°C, with visibility dependent on current and coast.
