HMS British Sergeant is one of Sri Lanka’s major WWII wrecks off the east coast, generally associated with deeper, more advanced wreck diving. It has a powerful historical presence and strong structural appeal.

What to see

Large wreck structure, wartime remains, batfish, snappers, lionfish, moray eels, sponges, soft corals, nudibranchs, and schooling fish may be seen.

When To Go Diving

"Best from May to September, when east-coast seas are usually calmer. Water is generally around 27–30°C; depth and conditions make training and experience important."
