Mbulo Caves is a cavern-style Solomon Islands dive, where limestone or volcanic cuts create a more atmospheric route than an open reef. It suits divers who enjoy light, shadow, and reef structure as much as fish life.
What to see
Cave openings, swim-throughs, soldierfish, squirrelfish, reef fish, soft corals, sea fans, shrimps, crabs, nudibranchs, and small reef creatures may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to November, when seas are usually calmer and visibility is often strongest. Water is generally around 27–31°C, with visibility commonly 15–30 metres.
