All about Mary Island dive site

Mary Island, also known as Mborokua, is one of the Solomon Islands’ great fish-action sites, with hard coral, current, and dense schooling life around an uninhabited island. It has a wild, open-water feel and is often a highlight of liveaboard routes.

What to see

Schooling jacks, barracuda, reef sharks, turtles, bumphead parrotfish, fusiliers, hard corals, sea fans, and dense reef fish may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best from May to November, especially in calm conditions. Water is usually around 27–31°C, with visibility often 15–30 metres or more.
