All about Maria dive site

Maria is likely a locally named reef, rock, or small wreck site. It has a guide-name feel and should be treated as a compact Atlantic dive with rock structure and fish life.

What to see

Wrasse, bream, octopus, conger eels, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, sponges, anemones, crabs, and small schooling fish may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best from late spring to early autumn. Water is generally around 15–23°C on the mainland and slightly milder around Madeira.
