Lava Finger - Galomar

Lava Finger-Galomar is a reef suitable for novice and experienced divers. This dive site is also known as Bird Foot (Galomar). The average depth of the site is 20m/66ft, although the maximum depth reaches 30m/98ft. There isn’t any current. The visibility is excellent, about 30m/98ft. Divers can explore the wall and cave and see barracudas, monkfish, dolphins, rays and even mantas. From April to May it is the Sperm Whale watching season. Lava Finger – Galomar is ideal for diving with children and for those who are new to this sport. This site is also great for night dives.

When To Go Diving

The water temperature stays around 23C/73F in August and 18C/64F in February. The air temperature is 26C/79F in the summer and 19C/66F in the winter. The climate is mild and the waters are crystal clear.
