All about Manuka Bay dive site

Manuka Bay, on Hawaiʻi Island, offers a remote South Kona-style shore or boat dive feel, with lava rock, coral patches, and clear Pacific water. It has a quieter, wilder character than busy resort reefs.

What to see

Lava reef, turtles, reef fish, tangs, butterflyfish, moray eels, octopus, nudibranchs, and occasional rays may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best in calm summer and early autumn conditions. Water is generally around 24–28°C, with visibility often 20 metres or more when swell is low.
