When to go to Bugibba

Bugibba is a year-round destination. The rainy season is between September and February. The wettest month is December with an average of 112mm of rain. Average air temperature in the hottest month - August is 27C/81F and in the coldest month, which is January - about 12C/54F . Water temperature ranges from 15 to 26C/59-80F. The visibility: around 30m/98ft. The currents may vary, but generally are low.

Scuba diving in Bugibba

Buġibba is a district in Malta, situated on the northeast coast, 15km/ off Valletta. Malta International Airport is located in 19 km from it. Buġibba is a popular tourist area and part of neighboring resorts, such as St. Paul’s Bay and Qawra Point. Buġibba is the largest of these resorts, with the liveliest nightlife, numerous hotels, restaurants, pubs, clubs, and even a casino. Along the seaside promenade is the main highlight of this town the Buġibba Main Square. Some other interesting places to visit are Parroċċa San Franġisk church, Għallis Tower, and the megalithic temple ruins. The shore is rocky, but there are places ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The whole area has all kinds of water sports available, including scuba diving. Diving is suitable both for novice and experienced divers.
