Cirkewwa is located on the northernmost end of Malta. Some worth exploring dive sites are set within a few hundred meters of each other. There are underwater tunnels, caves, cliffs, walls and a natural arch that indicates a collapsed cave top. Other underwater attractions include a statue of the Madonna and two wreck sites: the Rozi wreck and P29 wreck. Diving in this area is suitable for divers of all levels of experience, though diving the wreck sites is recommended barely for advanced divers.

When To Go Diving

Diving is available year-round. The average depth of the site is 30m/100ft with visibility of more than 30 m/100 ft. The average air temperature is around 10-15C/50-59F during the winter and 21-30C/70-83F in the summer. The average water temperature stays about 14-17C/58-63F from December through April and 18-25C/65-77F from May through November.
