Maha Gala, or “big rock,” suggests a larger rock reef with more structure and depth variation. It has a stronger scenic profile than small patch reefs.

What to see

Large rock formations, snappers, groupers, jacks, moray eels, lionfish, rays, turtles, and schooling fish may be seen.

Best in calm conditions during the local diving season. Water is generally 26–30°C.
