Located near the mouth of Galle Harbor, the Rangoon is a shipwreck that lies at the depth of 32m/104ft. The SS Rangoon is 60m/196ft long and 1800 tons steamer built in 1863. Diving at this very interesting location is recommended for advanced divers.
What to see
Galle Harbour features full array of reef species including several types of jelly fish, javanese rabbitfish, grey snappers and bluefin trevally.
