This is one of the largest naturally formed coral reefs in Sri Lanka that is open for divers of all levels of experience. This beautiful coral reef provides shelter to many seawater creatures including snapper, barracuda, groupers, moray eels and several types of crustaceans.
When To Go Diving
The best time to come to Talpe Reef dive site is from November to April when the average water temperature is around 27C/80F. The air temperature stays around 35C/95F. The water visibility usually ranges between 5-25m/16-82ft. The depth of the dive site is 6-18m/19-59ft.
