Les rairas is best treated as a Raiatea outer-slope or reef site, likely with coral structure and fish life outside the lagoon. It offers a calm contrast to the stronger pass dives.
What to see
Hard corals, reef fish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, wrasse, moray eels, turtles, and occasional eagle rays may be seen.
When To Go Diving
May to October usually provides excellent visibility, while warmer months can still be good in settled weather. Water is generally 26–29°C.
