Le trou de la pieuvre, or Octopus Hole, is a Raiatea and Taha’a area site known for a cave-like formation in the lagoon. It offers a more mysterious mood, with an entrance marked by striking rock and coral texture.

Octopus may be seen, along with cave structure, reef fish, moray eels, shrimps, soldierfish, soft corals, and small crevice life.
