Scuba diving in Las Eras


There is a rocky point with a drop of up to 18m/59ft and a fabulous cave through which divers can swim. Waters near the small town of Las Eras can offer plenty of attractions, especially when it comes to marine life. This site is exposed to strong currents so it is a weather-dependent dive.
When to go
In January the air temperature varies from 17C/36F to 22C/72F and in August the air temperature varies from 26C/79F to 30C/86F. The average water temperature is 23C/73F in the summer and 18C/64F in the winter. The best time to go is from May to October.
What to see
Congers, morays, barracudas, scorpion fish, star fish, triggerfish, octopuses and sea urchins can be found in this area.
