Kalithea is a dive site located in Kalithea Bay, Rhodes. Diving in Kalithea is presented by multiple cave and caverns, which are accessible for divers. Numerous clefts, crevices, rock-formation, outcrops and ledges create great opportunities for the diversity of marine life and determine an interesting scuba-diving.

When To Go Diving

Rhodes is the most hospitable in the summer period – from June to September. Average air temperatures reach 25-28C/77-82F and water temperature is the hottest in August – 25C/77F. Winters are cooler, with air temperatures of 13-15C/55-59F

What to see

Diving in Kalithea is characterized by exploring a rich variety of sponges, sea fans, sea grass and multiple types of soft corals. Among the underwater creatures divers can encounter groupers, turtles, snappers and migrating barracuda.
